Seriously though we (Australia) "borrow" these off the US every summer and they have saved many lives and countless properties. The amount of water they can hold and dump on bush fires is quite incredible.

Ok, here's the cool thing about this. A modified 'Dragonfly' (military helicopter) is converted to hold, plus or minus, 2,500 gallon. It sucks it up by a 10 inch hose at an incredible speed. Most bags that are carried by helicopters (to put out fires) are around 200-500 gallons.
When these helicopters suck up the water, you can see the blades bend under weight. I think this is just training though, cause I don't see the blades bending.
