that could be one step to creat the modern space ships like UFO ships

Oxygen and CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) are two different things and here you reference them as them same thing???
By the look of the affect of the chemical on the magnet and stand it looks like liquid Nitrogen...which is VERY cold.

Hey Teacher - from hell......I'm Glad your wern't my teacher at school. If you were, i'd think that co2 is like oxygen and be breathing from the exhaust of my car! Doh!

yep I wouldn't put my fingers near that shit either.
Fun with Liquid oxygen, I've had some in the fridge for ages wondering what to do with it? now I know.

Punkomar: Any space ship created today is modern, because it's being created in the present. Also, we cannot create UFOs, because that's an acronym for Unidentified Flying Object. If we know who made it, then it would hardly be unidentified.
Teacher-FromHell: It's nice to know that Perdition has such a great chemistry program. It's nearly as good as your infernal English curriculum.

Teacher-fromHell: wrong physics principle, this is not due to density.
This is superconductivity. The black chunk is a special ceramic that loses all resistance when cooled to a certain temperature, in this case, it appears to use liquid nitrogen (liquid nitrogen superconductors are somewhat recent, but I saw an equivalent demonstration in my physics II class (college)). With a decently strong magnet (looks like neodymium), the magnetic repulsion from induced currents from simply bringing the magnet close will hold the magnet in place. The magnet can spin because all that is needed to keep the field constant is the position and orientation of the dipole (meaning, north and south). When he pushes it down farther and moves it, the current induced exceeds what the superconductor can carry losslessly, allowing a change in where the magnet is positioned, and since it now requires a current in the opposite direction to pull it away, this counter current allows him to lift the superconductor by the magnet out of the liquid nitrogen, allowing it to cool, therefore losing its superconducting state, and lowering the magnet (neat idea).
By the way, you can actually dip a finger into very shallow liquid nitrogen briefly, the evaporation pushes the liquid away from your finger, so it doesnt touch/freeze it, I have done this (same physics demonstration).

bennyballz , the stuff coming out your exhaust pipe is CO...carbon monoxide , not the more common CO2....carbon dioxide.
Either one will kill you if concentrated in an enclosed area but the CO really stinks and will cause you to flee the room to get oxygen while CO2 is odorless and will sneak-up on you.

the thing that comes out the car exhaust is CO2(carbon dioxide) but from the engine is CO(carbon monixide) because of the the platinum piece in the exhaust called the catalytic makes from 2 CO + O2 = 2 CO2
