The cruiseship you see here is the Voyager. Apparently they suffered from an enginefailure after a rogue wave hit the bridge, smashing through the windows and disabling the engines.
The ship made it through though, they eventually managed to restart one of the engines

one could have ordered a Charlie-Alpha session, general assembly of all people, crew and passengers (pax), and proceeded to roll-call and prep for rawing: when all inside are most certainly gathered and sitting, awaiting with their life-jackets on: in theatre (not ideally), certain bars (deffinitely closed), and couple of on-board restaurants (only times when they close). and, it doesn't look like Ocean waters, either.

It's a lot less impressive when you consider that the ship is quite small by cruise ship standards - little more than half the length and about a quarter the displacement of those you see in a typical cruise advertisement.

I have been on a smaller boat but it was two floors, we had some side waves on a way back, ant the boat was high and not wide, so it started swinging like crazy, I was pretty damn scared, and the bad thing it was swinging too fast to stand up and go down the floor, so I was stuck there holding hard. If it would be as bad as here I would be shitting my pants Somehow boat trips are more scary for me than airplane ones, and I've been in some serious turbulence,lights start blinking situations...

The ships have built in stabelisers which stick out the side under the water like aeroplane wings and this helps them stop rolling over.
After 10 years in the Royal Navy this is a mild sea compared to some i have encountered.
