#10 it's an eddie as #3 has aleady pointed out (to himself!?). A Maelstrom is a large swirling body of water, although this is swirling, it is neither large or a body of water.
Looks like a lot of you have never seen the plug pulled on the bathtub. If the ocean level is going down where you are, and it's not the tide... look for scuba divers who are pulling the plug on the ocean floor.
Sick bastards start in the cleanest warmest waters first. No way we're going to see arctic water swirly thingys soon.
