that is damn epic, and the 35m deep makes me dream... one question though: if it if filled with sea water, what is the interest of going to the pool when you have the sea 15m behind the pool ?

#21 says a billion euro's... which is a bit more ;)

#5 thanks for the tinyurl , and also from wiki

"It cost about US$ 3.5 million (€2.8 million) to build.[5][6] The pool has been attracting tourists since it opened in December 2006."

I knew a billion was a stupid figure , And #21 its in chile, so what about all the jobs the locals got and what about all the tourists it brings to there country might have cost a bit but in the long run it brings people there and thats good for them and there not exactly the richest country in the world

according to law in parts of Europe, people (individually, or collectively as families, or through legal entities' agency) may own forests, or land on steep mountain sides, yet not rivers, or seas, or lakes, unless in part and only w/ regard to make use of its surface, so called entitled to gathering civil fruits such formations could provide humans w/. so ..this 'New Vegas in the Hood', may rise at least few eyebrows when at imaging Banks securities, and property: I would start wondering new legal approaches, preparing for Moon slicing, building new tools to dig money from a Bank :(|)
