looks awesome and id go for one... however, with all this electronic inside, things cost more and more expensive, and and less and less reliable and durable... Now when you buy either a TV, a camera, a washing machine... you have to be ready for the fact that their lifespan is about 5 years and then they start to have problems which cost more repairing than buying a new one... Where is the time when house goods were surviving 20 years like the old washing machine of my parents or their old TV?

#(removed comment) you were listening when he said "custom designed" right? The cooktop shown is obviously fitted to the available depth in the video. Also, how can controls that take up 15% of available space be worse than 76% unused space on conventional cooktops?

for such things need to restore all the dishes in the kitchen because the diodes do not read all sorts of materials and in addition to touch screen end grease, heat and fat ..... I do not know .... I am a chef and to speak with experience .... it is for people who do not cook home but for those who eat at restaurants .....

It is very adaptable to almost everyone. I have no need for such luxury, but appreciate many features like the thermometer and the safety.

#2 Normally you buy them both in one. Like these: http://www.sotochsnygg.se/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/spis.jpg This saves room and costs.

Oh god its a iphone that burns your fingers , the reason they havent changed in years is because if its not broken dont fix it , this stupid thing is just more electronics to go wrong.
If each of those honey combs as they call them has individual power and sensors, the amount of relays and circuitry needed for that is just asking for a problem and i put money on it if one goes wrong the whole thing needs replacing

Thats very cool but still not as good as cooking with gas as you get more rapid control of heat.
