#3 - I don't see how this will help people with asthma, unless they have some multiplication problems to solve?

Cool concept, i wish i knew about this back in school.

Mkey, but is hard work for 123 x 321 to count the dots, it can be easier :

123+

369
-----
39483
So kids, don't be a fool, stay in school :P

No big deal:

(a + b) x (c + d) = ac + bc + ad + bd

So counting the dots are the ac, bc + ad and bd.

Simple expansions.

Louise Pascale had a Triangle named after him.

For the clueless see:

(20 + 1) x (10 + 3) = 200 + (60 + 10) + 3

I thought everyone had a calculator on their phone now. this is useless. And don't say but what if your battery dies. If your battery dies life isn't worth living anyway so who cares about the sum.

It only works good with small numbers. for example: 98 x 79 will be hard to do using this method.

But it doesn't work with zeros.

if you try to solve 1011x6050 it doesn't work

it does work but it becomes a long thing when doing long multiplication...maybe a abacus would solve it quicker? who knows..
