Good skill but this looks good only on TV. I would rather have my child run free and develop at their own pace. I have friends from Far East and their parents really pushed them to their limits when they were young. I want my child to play, learn street skills and become clever the natural way.

Well we know what the Japanese are like...
That kid did not just pick up the cube and solve it on its own.

Just think of all the times you didn't get the job because you failed the Rubik's Cube test or couldn't play Chopin. Just saying... lol.

I still can't make one 3x3x3 and I'm past my 30s: it's like riding a bike, or swimming, I suppose. The cool thing is that I've bought mine from the Island of Malta, so they may wanna have imported new ones >:)

Who is to say that the kid doesn't have a life? The Rubik's cube isn't brain surgery. It's just a game that most of us can't do without a lot of practice. Snotr has tons if kids who have unique talents, but it doesn't mean that it's the only thing they do. Moreover, it doesn't mean that the parents shove them in a cage to do all day. Lot's a talent prodigies started stuff on their own.

I wish i had even a small fraction of that growing up when i were a kid. I grew up like #1 and that didnt get me any further than any of you.

What i mean is while it may appeared forced and what not, this is how you bring up mankind a notch. Imagine if that kid would do the same to her kids and so forth for a few generations. Those kids would be generally smarter than any average kid like #1 wrote.

We need to be trained at early age, the earlier the better, for us to secure our future.
