#6 i thought about that at first too... but how would the projector know what to project since there isn't any video source to project what's behind the guy wearing it..
i mean if there was a camera where the projector would be, the dude blocks the background...
if there was a camera behind the dude, camera would show a deeper view behind the dude, since the camera is deeper behind the dude...

#8 you might have a point, but in the first cases the image could be a still photograph; what intrigues me is when the image on the TV is visibly changing... that would work if the projector was also fed the image on the tv... If that is not the case then that is one hell of a magical cloak :)

One think is for sure, the material is key

My best guess that this is an edited video and the guy is wearing that blue/green color raincoat and other items are also "Transparent" in that same way too.

#23 - well, it IS fake in that its not anything like real invisibility. They are basically using greenscreen technology, only with a live background being projected onto a special material (the jacket). There is very little real-world application for this beyond novelty. It takes some relatively large equipment (mostly a camera and projector) to work.
