#9 But was it shown in English?[1] Because this ingenious display of words can't be easy to translate to another language without losing the alliteration and rime and therefore the joke.

[1] The reason I ask is that it's common to dub these cartoons in Germany like #7 implied.

Oh the old days.. I remember there was this thing called a TV. You had to wait till certain time of the the day to watch certain show (I know, crazy, eh?), and there was these commercials like every 10mins.

#7 ^^" lol, this cartoon is famous in france, i watched it when i was kid...
and the jokes are translated, as in any tv shows wathever the language is (english language is based on german, french and latin language... so the "jokes" or "puns" are frequently based on the same words)

MY BRAIN HURTS It's funny how some people think of this as an old cartoon. I remember when these came out. I liked 'Earthworm Jim' and 'Freakazoid!'and 'Tiny Toon Adventures'and of course 'Animaniacs'.
