The worst thing to do is to let these situations unpunished and keep your mouth shut. So make a big fuzz, boycott, ask for the manager but just don't let this be a natural thing in your environment.

THEY SHOULD DO THESE SOCIAL EXPERIMENTS IN THE UAE...THE EMIRATIS WORSHIP WHITE PEOPLE FROM EUROPE AND AMERICAS...
THE LOCALS WILL EVEN MAKE THE WHITES MANAGERS EVEN IF THEY WERE STREET CLEANERS BACK HOME...
@2 very true!.. there's no such thing as an *innocent bystander* in this scenario, some or us seem to make it to adulthood without growing a fucking conscience along the way..
It lacks the white thrash lady being thrown out of the store, just to see how the reactions would have been.
It would be interesting to do it with A black shop owner and a white women.
If anyone finds more like these please upload them.
Very cool
These are very "baited" and leading/scripted situations. I wonder what may have been edited out that didn't support the message being portrayed.
This is a very fertile ground for a tyranny to arise when we don't stand up for each other and protect each others' very basic rights.

5:22 Samuel L. Jackson look-alike.
i wonder what Sam would say in a situation like this..
"I've had it with these muthaf*ckin' racists in this muthaf*ckin' store!!"
when the crying lady hugged the actress that just been malested and the actress said "thank you"... i've seen the graditude in her eyes. that was real
I cant believe no one said anything thats just so wrong , its just as bad in ireland with the polish people look at them like there going to rob the shop while some pikey/knacker is robbin them blind behind there backs

dont understand why they do this test. its commonly known that this stuff happens.its just pointing out the obvious, (wich is my job) discrimination is still out there. saying that it isnt is just to naief. the most bullshit is that the people act like. oohhh does this happen???
people that are suprised about this issue are dumb and living in a fairytale.
if we wanna stop racism, we should stop talking about it.
racism only generates hate.
im not a racist, i hate al kinds of people.
Racism isnt just 1 way!
in my eyes this is just half an experient therfore proves nothing!
to be honest i wouldnt get involed in this situation at all, the race, sex, age or religon of the person wouldnt make any difference to me and i dont think im alone in thinking this way either.
Racism dont just flow one way. Ive been in some Jamaican stores as a white guy and been pretty much treated the same way this black woman got treated. As long we people look different there will always be problems. Even something as pathetic as a color on our skin will be brought up. If its not the color than its something else. Humans in general. One can hope that our childrens children grow up with more respect than our parents did. But knowing how humans work and being one myself, the future looks grim sadly.

This is a tough one, because in this case "stepping in" accomplishes nothing unlike in other videos. Thats why the people remained quite, they would prove no point except walk out, having no impact on anything because the store has plenty of people.
However one thing to consider. Those statistics the lady mentioned. Some time ago, there was a news story about taxi drivers avoiding black passengers because they have many experiences with them running off without paying. Question comes to mind, if this was your store, what would you do? While a store is not exactly like a taxi, if i were a taxi driver and i've had a number of a particular race not pay, i would think twice about picking up that race again. While it sounds harsh, im sure most would agree if it was their income at stake.

That's a very interesting video. It could have been better. Since that kind of racist behavior is so common they shouldn't have needed to hire actors to play the racist store clerks. As common as such incidents are said to be, it should have been easy to get plenty of video of actual racist store clerks mistreating the actress posing as a customer. But I have to admit, I have never witnessed a real life scenario anything like the one portrayed in this video. I know racism exists; I've been the victim of it too many times. But I don't think it exists in the stereotypical ways most people believe.
give me a brake, black people are the most racist, BET, im black and im proud, all black college cmon just image white entertainment television, all white college...really?
This kind of treatment can be more than just a race problem. I was an American stationed in Germany in the late 80s, and I can easily pass as a German, I took the time to learn to speak German but only being there 2 years I only learned conversational German. I was at a Ghasthouse and ordered a meal and drinks for my girlfreind and I and all was great until the waitress asked something I didn't understand, then she realised that I was American. I got NO service after that. It doesn't make you feel good.

Unbelievable no one is putting the term "social experiment" between quotes. Again this is such an over the top FAKE!!! situation. Pure end simple entertainment no real scientific value what so ever.
By the way the "dressed down" factor is probably a much bigger issue than the skin color. As the saying goes "clothes makes the man".
Nothing wrong with that, if the meat looks rotten it probably is. Just the way it/we work/s. See/hear/smell/touch/taste -> evaluate/compute (this could be called judge) -> act/react.
