thats one lucky solider... scary to think that shit happens every day out there for no real reason and some of them arent that lucky to be behind bullet proof glass

Thing about bullet proof glass is that the energy is spread sideways. It is also multi layered.

When video is replayed, keep your eye on the area where the bullet strikes the glass. You will see the bullet impact the glass before you hear the gunfire. I've heard "snippers" comment on that very fact. They will say the victim they kill is usually dead before they hear the the gunshot. This video proves to me that they are right.

#11 The loud sound you can hear is the sound of the bullet smacking into the glass,not the report of the rifle that fired it.

#4, I would still be thankful to the bulletproof glass instead of God.
The latter can't stop a bullet.

dont know if it was a stray bullet or a sniper shot, it was cool anyhow

#11 The bullet goes faster than the speed of sound. That is why the impact will happen before you can hear any sound.

#18 or like many videos the sound and visuals may not be perfectly in sync. + it would be the impact you would hear, not the 'sound' of a bullet.

Sniper shot i dont know about that, you clearly hear another shot being fired somewhat after. Stray shot i doubt that.
