#11 - Probably thinks that people have the time to make up shit using CGI instead of actually filming the real world and that The Matrix was based on a true story >:)

Great vid!

For those who care about photographic technique used to produced that, it's not a shift lens as the video description says but a tilt lens.

This is a very nice display of the miniature filter.

I have a compact camera that can record this kind of videos too, Samsung WB660 (WB650). It records at 15fps,no sound.
This clip shows some stills: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh7Bjq-L3r4
and this is a movie sample: http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=lmhF937QC1M

I guess this video used a different camera ofcourse, and some after editing to make it play even faster.

I love the result.

#46 .. i dont think they used a filter .. this is all done by the lens. The 'filter' of your camera is actually an 'effect' .. a post-process .. you could do that in photoshop too, by masking the part you want focused (the center) and blurring the rest.

With tilt-shift lenses this happens optical in the lense before it even hits the sensor of the camera...(no digital processing to get depth blur)... the result is very difficult to fake in photoshop and most authentic because it's real tilt-shifted-focus.. the same thing that happends when you get very close to stuff with your eyes... i also think they made 1 picture a second... my 2cent..
