I have the perfect solution to the issue of not being able to see the flames. Duh! All you have to do is mix gunpowder dust into the alcohol mix and bingo, the drivers would light up like the fourth of july. But wait...that means on the fourth of July, racetracks could avoid the extra costs of fireworks after the race. Genius.

I believe it was after this incident that the methanol was mixed with about 5% gasoline so if anything like this happened again at least the marshalls would know where the fire was
