"Boy, he got lucky."

"Yeah, I don't wanna get too close."

REALLY? It looked to me like you were catching up to the guy. I would have backed the F off :O .

#1 - The load is WAY top heavy. It's possible that either winds are a factor, the driver made a move right or left too quickly and started it rocking, or a combination of both.

At first I thought the car was a Highway Patrol vehicle and he was going to pull over the truck for reckless driving, but then I realized it was a cab. May I have 2 scoops of Rocky Road? :O

I bet the driver pulling that trailer has to throw his underwear away when he gets home.

Its not wind, he swerved too sharply and the momentum caused the trailer to move to one side. Once that happens it will go into a pendulum as the force that keeps the trailer from falling over/continuing in that direction causes it to rock the other direction. The trick is to speed up, to add forward momentum so that the alternating forces on the trailer are cancelled by the force pulling it in one direction. This is common if you have a trailer with a higher centre of gravity than the towing vehicle.

Its a known factor when using hangers like that, take it from one who has driven camping wagons, its one of the most common dangers. One just has to slow down gradually, til it stops swirling, then you got control again.
