Imagine living in such a tall building, waking up in the morning drinking your coffee and suddenly see a small rc plane fly by your window xD..
I cant believe this though...the distance this thing must be controlled from.

Judging from the acknowledgments near the end, I'm pretty sure the guy got permission for the flights beforehand. These days, to do otherwise would likely lead to an arrest.

#2 Regarding your comment of too many cuts; I'm not too familiar with RC planes but maybe there are so many cuts because it isn't possible to maintain the distance between the remote control unit and the plane. It was just good editing I'm thinking. Is there anyone who can explain this to us? Is it really possible to fly that far away from the plane? What is the longest range possible? And, wouldn't the person operating the plane have to be in constant sight of the plane in order to keep it under control? Explain if you can help out someone. Thanks!!

so for a white looking guy, its ok, he is being educational. For a middle eastern looking guy, he is a terrorist planning something, lets arrest him and charge him with a felony. #7, i am pretty sure he had no such pre authorization
the problem is that such dumb people that are doing these things like flying close to buildings or following cars and boats, that at the end governments will make laws that prohibits these things and screw things up for all of us, which just makes the population more handcuffed of doing things every day...

#10, this particular pilot has not problem with range, his equipment allows him to fly about 30km away from where he is standing. That's about $2000 US worth of cameras transmitters and plane there.

#17, there is a camera on the plane and a transmitter that transmits an image to a pair of video goggles the pilot is wearing. Basic FPV stuff, but he has some special long range setup.

I wish that video was longer,it was very cool to watch.The guy flying the RC plane had great awareness of just where his plane was.
