I do the same move to catch flies in the summer 
You dont need kung fu to do it, just practice to get the right distance from the surface... However... I decided NOT to keep 13 million fly carcasses in my home

well... special as it was that he know's martial arts and stuff... i used to do this stuff as a kid when i was 9 or 10 years old... so this didn't impress me much

Either way, the amazing thing is that's probably only 0.0000001% of the worlds flies!

#2 no I don't think so. Although I am super eco-friedly and love nature all the way, I really think we would be better off without ticks and mosquitos.

wtf, i dont wanna brag but i always got flies with my hands like that since my days in the class room, i can also catch them im mid air =D when you pass ur hand above them like that they fly up and are really easy to catch anyway

Imagine this guy as a superhero in a horror movie trying to beat the kingdom of flies? (You know red bandana, Queen fly as the last enemy etc etc)..
Thats a movie i would NOT watch
