This race winner celebrated with a little too much enthusiasm and nearly took himself out of any future races.

Actually, his shoelace got tied up on one of the wheels blocking it. That's why he turned so suddenly toward his opponent. You can see it at 0:11

I tought something broke off and caused him to crash but the shoelace is a good explanation. But omg....he lost because of a shoelace. that's f&cked up

This is like being on MARIO-KART 64 and slipping on a banana right before the finish line

His shoelace did not cause the sudden turn . At 0:06 the cart hits a bump in the track and the front wheels momentarily lose contact with the pavement which allowed the wheels to turn when they touched back down since he had let go of the steering wheel. He realized his predicament and grabbed for the steering wheel, but too late. Those carts have very quick steering with just a minimal movement of the steering wheel.
His shoe got hung-up with the brake pedal when he was ejected forward.
At 0:24 what is he telling the crowd with his hand?

its ok, was usual. but what it as to do with bruce lee high fives or yea yea... hand moments were too fast.
I belive in GOD, and when i see these kind of things, i enjoy it more than anybody else. 
Today we make history, gentlemen... and he definately made one!

His laces got caught on the way out of the cart. and in no way caused the wreck. You CAN NOT take your hands off of the wheel in a go-cart ever. TOTAL FAIL !!!

what an idiot!!! Stupid ass egoist over confident drivers....they cause over 50% trafic acidents!
