Apparently this is how you have to view the new Nintendo 3DS...........?!
DrShoe 2 years ago
Yes, very well done
If it was real you would have massive muscle ache in your eye lids the next day after a 90 minutes movie.

I was going in all ready to say ... crap what reason could there be to not do it for 3D without glasses? ... then I saw what it makes you look like.

i'm waiting for someone to implement Johnny Chung Lee's wii mote 3D head thingy with a Blueray player.
3D without eyewear is kinda impossible to reach when it's not a single serving entertainment system. mostly due to the fact that we only see 3D, when our brains receive 2 different images to process. hence the synced flickering glasses...

Looks like he's in the matrix, having new trick installed into his brain.
But seriously, if this is real, it is useless. Watch a full-length movie like this and your eyelids will never work again.

I'm surprised no one here is calling this fake... I'll look it up but for now I definitely have to say
if its not then i doubt we will ever see this thing in stores... I think its just the guy has an ability to blink his eyes like that really fast... non of it convinces me, plus they don't even show the screen..... fake

3D Without Glasses is very well possible. There are several Technologies already developed. These are called Autostereoscopic Technologies (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autostereoskopie).
One Technology is called Two-View Display. It is realized using Lenticular Lenses (http://bit.ly/dZnkBJ) which are nothing else than those tilt-images you had as a child which changed the picture when you tilt it.
There are even Technologies where cinema sized walls are used to create a Multi-View Environment (More than just two images are projected). And don't forget Volumetric Displays!
got_milk 2 years ago
well its just a little diode that sends electric impulses through your skin to stimulate the muscles that are responsible for blinking.. ill take ugly big plastic glasses over this anytime.
knospi 2 years ago
I'll eat a broom if this is NOT fake
BabyJLE 2 years ago
its just looked fucked up, honestly.

yet another reason not to watch movies in 3D, now what we want is 3D without blinkingness

If there is 3d without glasses, i want to see that 3d on snotr... lol
irishgek 2 years ago
#14 That's rapid eye movement not eye lid , If this was done for real your eye lid would be in serious pain , And also shutter glasses are also a thing of the past , modern cinema glasses just use Polarized 3D glasses.

irishgek 2 years ago
Yes #28 because those are some real great news sources I check them every day .....come on will you ,
Lets Say it this way I dont care what people say blink your eyes for 1min as fast as you can , go on try it , not only can you not focus on anything right, after about 15seconds you will have a massive pain in your eyes also while blinking if dirt /dust gets trapped in there you can do damage to your eye the safety and health issues with this is just stupid its fake and if its not he's blind by now

what happens if you get sand or dust in your eyes while watching tv scrape them to oblivion??????
Mitak 2 years ago
Are you kidding me, i exploded in laughter when i saw his eyes!!! Immagine this in the cinema= 1000 people who's eyelids move in sync, there might be even a sound to that
Syrup 2 years ago
um excuse me moderators, how come it doesn't state that i submitted this?
blackice 2 years ago
Don't worry Syrup, I submitted this video too, I have no clue how this site works, on what criteria videos are posted? I think they are picked randomly by the computer, it explains why crap videos are posted while some good ones rejected or why the same video accepted later in favour of somebody-else. That's how life is,unfair!!!!!

let's settle the score: it IS a fake; this french dude is a little genius in pre and post prod; just out some of his work:
might b weird to some but still original !
in this vid he's making fun of all the hipe about 3D tv and glasses in a very.... french way i suppose
c0mmanderKeen 2 years ago
very funny vid Imagine watching LotR special edition, das boot or dances with wolves like that
clark58 2 years ago
Sorry how is this more convenant that carrying around glasses? I wonder what 2 people wearing this looking at each other would see. If they were in sync they would either see each other with eyes closed or even wierder starring at each other.

#28 Hopefully it gets posted on some more sites to make it even more real.
