Blatantly illegal hit, and before that he was attempting to hook him with his stick. No.14 should've at least received a major penalty for that.

you guys call this sports? this has nothing to do with sports anymore. Its more like an dumb wrestling match to me.
In order to get the puck, you must simply be better then the other guy, not RAM him through a wall.......

#11 you have never played hockey if you dont think this is a team game. just because there are some assholes out there who go head hunting doesnt mean it's not a team game. just to get the puck down the ice requires a whole team effort. and, it's hard to say if this hit is a penalty or not. he did come in pretty fast which could make it a charge but another part of me thinks it's a clean hit. if the glass didnt break and bend him backwards it would have probably looked like a normal hockey hit. all these comments about it being wrestling on ice are retarded. just shows you dont watch hockey or know what you're talking about.

#8 No he did not try to hook him before the hit and no its not an illegal hit. As #17 says if the glass would not break it would be a normal hit. The one recieving the hit has to blame himself. He knows hes about to get hit but he still turn around allowing the hitter to get him in the chest, stupid move and its noting illegal about it.

#18 you are very right. too many players these days turn away from the hit trying to avoid it than take it and end up getting hurt more in the process. i have no idea why this guy turned the way he did. you learn not to do this in pee wee hockey!
