the reason why this is a dumb idea is that, unlike roller coasters, there are no backup mechanism if something goes wrong.
Then again, I would be ashamed to explain to people that I became quadriplegic after doing something as dangerous as this.

At least the guy on the snowmobile is risking his life for money, this idiot is just doing it for kicks. Don't forget, the excavator operator would be slapped with a big fine, possibly going to jail and would lose his operator's license. Their supervisor would be looking at a huge fine and jail time as well, even if he was off-site at the time. This is just plain wrong. Do stupid stuff on your own time, not at work where it can effect others.
