Thumbs up for the result, but why disguise it as a wooden door? Is this the holodeck?
I would put a ir beam in there to stop it closing on someone if they didn't walk through. And add some rubber or felt padding where the wooden doors meet to stop the thud at the end. But pretty cool tho.
I expected a bit more Star Trek. Still kudos for the project. I liked it.
#12 girls like when guys are not lazy and/or dirty and this guy is non of those plus he is a good engineer/renovator.
You know what, I'm sooooo impressed about this <sarcasm>, Because my local Walmart store does the same thing without using an air compressor.

Nice. Now show us the replicator, holodeck and my turbolift to work ![]()
WTF, all that work and it's a stupid 6 panel door. At least it should have had stainless skins on it. Other then that, "beam me up Scotty".

#14 - Yeah but the doors in walmart don't sound like the doors from star trek. I think that's what he was going for.

Good to replace the *squeek* of a rusty old door with a *puff*
Gotta be pretty annoying late at night
