Amazingly wonderful shots, assumingly filmed with home-equipment, especially when dusk sets in.

This is where it starts. The next thing you know he's giving interviews after winning "GOLD" at the olympics telling us how he started it all in his backyard as a kid growing up. And how his parents could not afford the "instructors" like the other kids had in childhood. Meager beginnings to world domination at the winter olympics. Go kid!!!

Looks easy. But so does dunking. Got myself basket in my backyard last year. Hardly reach the net... Conclusion - it must be difficult.

this is a nice vid. however, what he's doing isn't special in terms of skiing. it just happens to be in a backyard.

#1 Judging by the guys name and the houses in the background I would guess Germany or Austria... I grew up in the area

#13 did i say i could do better? did i say i was a skier? did i say anything of the sorts? no, i didn't. i watch skiing occasionally so all i was syaing was that it wasn't that big of a deal what he was doing. soooo sooorrrryyyyy.

#15 I do ski, and have since I was a kid and I can honestly say that what he's doing IS a big deal. Sure, hes not doing triple backflips, but he's not coming off of a 10 meter kicker either. Given the set up he's got, he'd be hard pressed to do anything more fantastic, and it really doesn't matter anyhow as a flip with a half twist is impressive anytime. Sometimes I have to wonder if the wow factor of people's real abilities haven't been completely skewed into non-reality by a generation of Tony Hawk games. Kudos to the skier. I sat here watching that vid thinking "Damned I wish I could do that, he's ripping it up".

#16 i have also skiied since i was a kid and i have watched skiing since i was a kid. nowadays, what he's doing, IS NOT that big of a a deal. maybe for a backyard it's a bit bigger of a deal..but yeah

#18 i have no idea why are you trollin on this vid. its so awesome and i'm wathing it for at least 20 time and still enjoy it. just enjoy what life has to offer and don't pointlessly complain or brag about it. grow up man. sorry for the gramar though
