i'm about to cry. Not because of the disabled fella. His fathers self sacrifice and ambition makes this story incredible. After seeing all those scumbags for fathers on tv, this video made me realise that this is a "father".
we can't be worthy of a father doing any less.

ummmmm, go ahead and thumb this down if that rocks your boat.. but let's be realistic here.. his disabled son "COMPETING" ??? (like his father repeatedly says) ..he just sits on his ass. I'm competing right now by typing this.
No. He simply takes part by doing nothing. A free 1st person view of the competition. An illusion that he's competing. Does that make him happy? Most probably. Is it a noble gesture from his father? Undoubtedly. Does he actively participate in the process? Hardly.

#7 Empathy is the capacity to recognize and, to some extent, share feelings (such as sadness or happiness) that are being experienced by another semi-sentient being. Someone may need to have a certain amount of empathy before they are able to feel compassion. (wikipedia) Do you know what that is? Have you ever felt that? Don`t be a douche!
