Skynet? attempting to invent a piece of machinery / robotics to help contribute towards the armed forces or maybe even police patrolling? interesting concept but hasn't it been done before?

I say put a real gun on that thing, to hell with saving the life of the suspect. In any situation where this thing would be used, its obvious they are armed. FUCK the suspect.

#14 If it is a hostage situation where innocent lives are being threatened I agree that lethal force should be used. In other cases maybe a quick-acting tranquilizer dart could be used to subdue the perp.

An idea for the weapon rig: Having only a camera on the weapon limits the operators vision and driving abilities. Install 3 or so cameras on the front of the car, creating a panoramic view. On top of this, install a camera + laser on the weapon itself, which then is synchronized by some creative software, essentially giving the driver a panoramic view of an area and having the ability to aim the gun while only looking at the panorama image( imagine having a crosshair moving freely on the panorama image, showing the operator the guns position). Just a thought

look what he invented........pity he didnt invent it 20 years ago then he might have been able to enter it in the tv show robot wars where amature enthusiasts built their own similar objects and battled each other in a ring.
a nice looking sofisticated copy but an invention it is not
