Gotta love left-wing British commentary. If you watched this without the commentary you'd see a suspicious looking guy who leaps off a bridge rather than face outstanding warrants (nothing about them being for driving offenses). Add the commenatary and you get bad cops attacking a heartbroken innocent individual.

#7 & #8 I don't know I thought the commentator was kind of annoying... A lot of his comments really weren't necessary IMO
nothing comes close to John Walsh.

He wasnt stopped because criminals walk, he was stopped because he was WALKING ON THE FREEWAY. Thats illegal. There are big signs on every on ramp that clearly state that its ILLEGAL. Mister pressed shirt was a dumbass for walking on the freeway. If he had been on a sidewalk they never would have even looked at him twice.

The commentator needs commentating How pompous can you get? Pretty sure it's against the law to be any kind of pedestrian on the highway....drunk or not.
Why is everyone hating on the cop? #18 he didnt even go for his gun!
What are you talking about!?

Are the Brits so hungry to try and make fun of their big brother across the pond that they have to fabricate a video like this one? And some morons actually comment on it as though it was really what was going on. I guess stupidity has no limits .
NOW , how about a joke.....
An attractive blonde from Cork, Ireland arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty-thousand Euros on a single roll of the dice.
She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude."
With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!"
As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed..."YES! YES! I WON, I WON!"
She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.
The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?"
The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching."
MORAL OF THE STORY -
Not all Irish are drunks.
Not all blondes are dumb.
But all men... are men.

Why do they make the cop look like the bad guy? He's just doing his job and he isn't the one wanted in another county... In fact, if it were up to him he most probably would let him go. I'm sure he just asked for instructions and followed orders.
The dude was clearly drunk also, so he had obvious reason to stop him.

All these people who say the "cop was doing his job" are utter morons. The proper procedure in dealing with the situation is to talk the guy into getting in the squad car and bringing him to a nearby hospital to get help. You don't add insult to injury by trying to arrest the guy - who is obviously distressed (drunk or not). The police are there to protect and serve society; even if it means protecting us from ourselves.

O.K. facts about this one
#1 The guy was a fucking dumbass for jumping off the damn bridge.
#2 Bench warrants aren't worth running for.
#3 Fat cops will always over react.
#4 Fat cops are always assholes.
This was a simple case of "bloated object meets ignorant force"

No, here are the real facts in this one.
1. The cop did his job.
2. Whether guy is drunk or not, needs help or not, a warrant, big or small, is a warrant, he needs to go to jail and see a judge.
3. The problem with the US system (I am in the US, unlike some of these guys) is the way the police are trained. It's not their fault, but if they don't follow everything to the "T" then they can be out of a job. Like making everyone get on the ground, thats just something they have to do. So in training, the officer was told to direct suspects to "turn around and face the wall". Thats what he has to say. In training, he was told to run after the suspect if they start to run. Thats what he did.
This is really a great cop. He was looking out for the guy. You have to understand officers have a lot on their mind. We can joke about all the breaks they take, but in a situation like this the officer is stressed. They guy has traffic on one side, and a guy who might have a gun on the other. He has one second to make a decision and he choose to run after him. Great guy.

Now I have seen some truly ignorant comments before, but #27 takes the cake. This IS in the US....don't you see that big semi-auto on the cop's belt? Turn up the sound and listen to the accent, clearly not Brit.
A guy staggering along on an interstate at 2:00 am will most likely always get stopped to see what is going on.
