This guy is awesome! Well, his 'handicap' is even an advantage when it comes to downhill skating since his center of gravity is way deeper. I am absolutely sure if he got some braking gloves he would beat those guys with ease: http://www.snotr.com/video/1619

#4 - yes, his center of gravity is lower which would make things a little easier in some ways, but skaters get momentum and power from their legs by shifting their weight up and down, as well as using knees to absorb shocks and bumps - this guy overcomes this incredibly well.
