If you dont want to see a second degree burn, stop this video before 1:38
Bravo. These are the type of break through we need to bring this world to a better place to live in, NOT discovering the origin of god or anything. Not only does it improve people's chances of survival is a more severe case occurs, it also erase their scar that might leave them miserable for a life time.
I just hope that this is not a joke, because it is just too good to be true!
Allthoug i dont need it Im somehow happy that this exists^^
#7 Because religion and doubts about this being ethical.
Personally, I think this kind of technology is amazing. Just think of how many people that can get their lives "fixed" with stuff like this.
#4 How about nastier weapons?
About the video, very nice, but why did they give us a shot of the burned hand and then a shot of the healed arm. How can i compare? I can't.
#7 I believe the issue is with embryonic (about 100 cells) stem cell research. Basically some people believe that cloning and then killing human embryos is unethical. Researchers now say that adult stem cells are as good as embryonic but without all the ethical problems.
#10 It is not and I can understand your disbelief. It does look like alien tech. This is however the present of our medical science.
At 3:01 why does he say "this is what Urims's skin PROBABLY looked like before treatment"? It either did or it didn't. Maybe I'm mistaken but that doesn't make sense.
#11 its more like alien Ink
if it takes on 1.5 hours i would be happy to see the whole process in a single video. not two different shots.
Holy shit , my girlfriend burnt her hand 2 weeks ago cooking and it still looks bad , thats some amazing stuff right there!

maybe a warning for the disturbing image?
#13 that was scientist speak for "we didnt catch it on film, heres some other burned fellow"
This is a very VERY cool technology, and I really hope they iron all the bugs out quick and get this into every hospital around the globe. I have a friend who was viciously set on fire with gasoline and looks like freddie freakin kruger. He could have used a skin gun :\
This is the kind o gun that we should be developing not some machine gun that fires thousands of rounds per minute...

on friday he was treated, on monday he was all ready healed...
on wednesday he eated his wife and neighbour dog
just joking, this is amazing ![]()
#11 No, adult stem cells are already specialized and for example skin stem cells will only be useable to grow skin. This is why we still make research on embryonic stem cells; but adult stem are more convinient because they prevent rejection and other problems, but if we want to grow an entire complexe organ we will have to use embryonic stem cells or learn how to de-specialize adult stem cells wich we can do only by studying embryonic stem cells.

Incredible. Imagine if the US stopped waging wars it cannot win and allocated more resources into thing like these?
Another great video Snotr ![]()
Where are the BEFORE and AFTER shots of this specific person?? All they showed us were pictures of how his arm "would have probably looked".
Was this video released on 1st of April? makes me wonder....

keep the good work people!!..this kind of stuff will define the future!!!!
#26 The US does invest a lot of money in this technology , where do you think this stem cell gun comes from?
#10 what the heck is the 1th of April? It's the 1st. I know it isn't a big deal but you can't sweat the small stuff anymore, that's why we're in this mess to begin with. Stem-cells FTW! ![]()
#(removed comment) I think you are the hoax and the information in the video is real.

Wow. Just wow. To prevent so much pain and suffering, what a fantastic piece of medical technology.
