This is really awesome. Reminds me of a airport model at the hamburg airport, it has smaller scale but more infrastucture and day / night cycle ![]()

#1 that took you 20 seconds to realize?! no comment....lol
#7 It's part of the big project "Miniatur Wunderland" in Hamburg Germany which started out as "just" an 120 square meter model landscape and a few trains that went around, but it kept growing from there over the past few years to at least a factor of 10. The airport you are looking at has approximately 150 square meters alone, with more than 150,000 work hours spend setting up 1000 meters of track and building around 300 houses and bridges in that part of the Wunderland alone, soldering in 40,000 LED lights, and using hidden tracks to guide planes and automobiles around. So the point you are looking for is: ingenuity, attention to detail, having fun at what you are doing and sharing that fun with others.
The way I figured out it was fake was there were no flight delays or lost luggage. Downside is that you can't use your Capital One credit card to get air miles. (What's in your wallet)? ![]()
@3 to be fair it took me even longer. I thought it was the real airport done with tilt-shift lens photography.
#11 i figured it out instantly. i just thought it was obvious. being a photographer maybe my senses told me it wasn't a tilt shift.
