Not impressed until it can take a picture of the instruments/rover left on the moon... Plus, it's Canon, so it'll have to be calibrated for every camera body put on it :D

Problem with zoom like that is .....a 1mm movement at camera is like a 10 or 20 foot shake that far zoomed in so unless its 100% stable its useless

Seems a bit bulky. You can accomplish much the same thing with a 14" SCT and a focal extender, which is certainly not a small instrument, but smallER.

Nothing new to see here as they have been around for ages...

I live near Jodrell Bank and that's hundreds times bigger...
