#1 with all that steel the house aint going nowhere
#3 with all that rubber wheels i supose i would absorve something, thought could still happen
This guy should patent this idea, its really awesome
The house has the shape of a circle... and he has no neighbours. Even if the house didn't turn it would still always face the sun xD

I though this video is going to be about saving power, and not about unnecessary loud, slow rotating and again UNNECESSARY luxury ![]()

I was thinkin at this vid. in combination with the house

I'm a bit puzzled about the utilities cable. He says it can go up to two full rotations without undue stress, but restricts it to one. But how? Does he turn the house in different directions? They mention the speed as up to two full turns an hour, but that would max out the cable in just an hour. The omission of details like that bugs me.

I'll put an anti-theft system triggering full speed spin mode
#13: Maybe it turns in the opposite direction really quick to untwist the cable, then continue slowly in the original direction? ![]()
Another idea would be to make it float and rotate on a big underground hidden water tank?
now where the hell did I park my car,
aha great idea i will make the car drive along with my house, so when ever I open my main gate blam the car is right there. just how fantastic this would be ![]()
#13 if the house is following the sun he only needs about 180* rotation and can go back to where it started during the night. For any other user selected angle the system can choose which way to rotate. There is no point in having the house turn more then 360*
It's a nice idea, not sure I would want to live in it, I like to know which way I'm going when I go out the door ![]()

But still only one room can face the sun ....kinda pointless ,
#20, sorry but we get about 16 tornados a year here in australia http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2010/06/04/2918660.htm , as well as earthquakes, sorry buddy but we get them too http://www.ga.gov.au/earthquakes/index.jsp , if you live here like i do, then it pays to know facts about your country or google about them first.

But and at night? Why he doesn't build a house that follow the sun around the earth?

Wouldn't that be a little risky if there is a tornado? or real high winds? cool though
