It does not look fake to me. could be a cheap lcd with no metal shield in the back and the lcd is bolted to the table.

Great video :-) Great idea!
Simple setup I think - there are no moving pictures on the screen, just 2 pictures. So et is easy to put these pictures on a "home made easy to punch through" monitor and ad some effects (same method as with the green screens).

0:17 should have used the tv might have been a little harder to punch threw ...amazing how that lcd had no electronics in side or a "on" light like i think 90% of them have ...well made effect thow but like a 60's tv show when they go near a tv thats on with a camera and you see right threw them and there empty :P
