cars are a whole lot more impressive if they are moving and doing burnouts, then you have a much less chance of "burn-up"

Shouldn't the title be "Corvette burnup" And the tires didnt start on fire. The engine or blower blew up!

Supercharged engines really don't like being tortured like that so the dummy got what he deserved.

My guess is (seeing as you can hear the motor still running after the fire starts), is that there was probably a leak in the fuel system someplace.
