#1 Well look at the design and the other cars at the begining of the video, it was ready for selling a long time ago but wasn't released or at least nobody has heard anything about it so if nobody has found a use for it well I'm pretty sure it can be described as useless except for rich excentric people (and military, lifeguards already have much more effective things like Hovercrafts...)

Oh, what would happen if the car is being repaired, and you rent a car for the day. (one not waterproof)
btw nice idea to escape from the cops...

I can not see why this car could not work. even if it costs as much as a car and a boat combined it's still a bargain. No more getting the boat into and out of the water, plus you therefor don't need a suv to pull it etc.

Water inside the engine via the exhaust. Can't really see how that would allow combustion inside the cylinders unless I am missing something.

It's about the fastest amphibious car I've seen, don't think I would call it useless...
