Well #1 diabetes can be brought on to you from your parents. You can get diabetes from just regular eating, it doesn't have to be sugar. In the end it's an age related disease among most people.

I'm betting your teeth are the first to break down from eating/drinking excessive sugar. Hence it is always wise to drink sodas with a straw.

#11 nonsense...

Only type 1 diabetes is genetic... Type 2 is the growing killer right now, which is really about bad eating habits... Why Coke is a vector of type 2 diabetes is because it's all about the body failing to produce insulin or failing to react to it properly... Insulin is secreted in reaction to sugar... in the classic cocacola, there are around 12 sugar cubes in a 600 ml bottle...

So it's not about bad eating, it's about consuming so much fast-burning sugars....

It is NOT an age related disease... this is nonsense...! (i)

Hmm... 100+ seconds commercial. These days not even CocaCola could afford such a long commercial on TV, at least not on the bigger channels.

Wow... 0:31 Tell me CocaCola has not been using subliminal advertising even before color television was invented!!

Also... I wish I could taste the old Coca Cola..... With that nice dose of actual COCAINE in it >:) Slurp!

#12 Yep , and Vernors Ginger Ale and Hires Root Beer share the title for first American-born soft drink, both debuting in 1866. I guess after the War of Northern Aggression everyone needed a cool drink to "cool off".

#23 I would give you that one, except they are talking about American soft drinks. Guinness is good ale though, even the licensed stuff from Canada that we get here in the U.S.

#21 If you're drinking that stuff, wow... all I can tell you is don't get your Jheri Curl too close to a flash pot.

#23 Weihenstephan brewery,in Bavaria Germany, licensed in the year 1040 even though the monks had been brewing beer for centuries before that. Their Vitus is exceptional.
