Wow more money than sense , theres such things called avalanche rockets that are just a stick of tnt with a small rocket and cost 1000% less than using artillery rounds.
Hand it to the russian's for showing us how to waste money.

#3 Well..russia is not in war right now..still already got the guns..so why not havin some vodka and some fun to entertain snotrish people? And its not us who pay for it 
(Better blow already existing atillery to a mountain than to people)
But i think its really time that we make a russia category as you guys suggested 
(This is also a callout to our russian members..would you guys be offended of a category like "Only in Russia"? Dont uprate this comment..just answer for yourself)

Do you think Russian users would be offended?
Would you be offended of category like "Only in Germany"?
In other words - I'm not your mommy, to tell you what's right and what's wrong. Think for yourself.
I, personally, don't care, but I can't speak for everyone and I can't predict real consequences.

#4 & #7 I am not a Russian but if someone wanted to make a category for my country out of all others!?!? I would take it as a sign of recognition and respect. A CATEGORY DESIGNATED FOR YOUR COUNTRY....

#7 Of course its up to us to do it or not. But its you guys that have to like it or not..If we simply do it..you guys start to complain "Thats not correct..thats racist..thats bla bla" ..if we dont do it..people go on requesting it. So..mommy snotr asks the viewers if they would be fine with it. But nevermind..maybe its better we dont care what the viewers think, say or ask.
And no..i wouldnt care if there would be a category "only in germany"..would be pretty empty anyways..but other germans would not like it maybe..thats why i asked.
So..sorry for asking viewers opinions..wont do it again and ignore further requests

#10 don´t be offended by a fake account, created just for that one comment.
It´s great for admins and staff to hear out the folks and aks for opinions,
but I think a russian video category would be kinda pointless,
just type in "russia" in the search bar and *tada* there you got your russian category.
also it is almost sure that there will be some people complaining about this,
and others wanting a category for their own country...
kinda like the choice of getting your left or your right ball kicked, either way, there´s going to be massive pain!
but thinking more deeply about it (yeah I´m writing this comment for about 10 minutes now -__-)
"Only in Russia"...that sounds really mighty, and no matter how hard I try to come up with another country
giving us the same amount of joy and fun on this regulary basis...I don´t find one...
I say lets do this! 
but then I want a smiley in shape of a hammer and sickle too!

I think, that creating a category "Only in Russia" itself isn't a racist act. It can be so, it can be not, because it depends on videos, that you will put there. Don't ask permission to do something wrong. Do it right. If you will be going to put some video in category "Only in Russia", think first - is it really "only in Russia"? 
And by the way, you said it yourself: "but other germans would not like it maybe". Isn't it obvious, that you won't get unanimous decision?
#12 It's not a fake account. My first account was banned a few years ago (if I remember it right) and I didn't create a new one until now, because I respect moderator's decision. I made this one only to answer this question about "Only in Russia" category.

#15 yepp..i know what you mean..and i hope you know that i wasnt super serious either..i just asked the question that has been asked a few times now again and again..and more likely as a joke. "Only in russia" was/is just a slang many people use..and seriously..many vids we got ARE russian "jackass" vids..so many that they in fact could get an own category. But nevermind it..it wont come anyways. Are we are good again..ok? Highfive?

#13 And others , "Russian" is not a race , it is a nationality , just like Mexican and American are just nationalities.
But to move on , the area where the soldiers are firing into is rich in wildlife like bear , red deer , and East Caucasian Tur , so this seems to be a very irresponsible action. I hope to visit that area in the future so I hope they don't blow it all to hell.

i think i saw something similar to this on human planet, where people threw grenades from helicopters.
It helps to prevent future avalanches I think and they make sure no one's on the mountain at the time.
