Very very impressive!
What's his name again?
He should get himself an artist name we can remember, suggestions welcome
I know he's very clever but i dont like the way he is ignoring the fact that the big blue ball wants to use the ladder, he could give it a hand.

This is insanely impressive *if* this is real. The possibilities would be near endless with something that awesome. The thing is i haven't heard a word about this guy or the project - which is weird. Considering how far he "seems" to have got. Fake or not? I hope not, but you never know...

Great security idea. I guess no-one would ever think of logging in by holding a photograph of your face up to the cam? ![]()

haha funny enough family members tried that the only problem was that because the photo of my face wasn't three dimensional it didn't recognize the photo. So im not worried ![]()

Nice to have in a bar or club, so the security can instantly see who has lost their permit to enter.

#20. That's odd, because I've heard of people logging on using their own photograph, so the 3D thing is clearly incorrect. And if you think about it, the only way the program would be able to distinguish a 3D image from a 2D one, would be if it had access to 2 web cams. I don't know of any laptops with 2 cams, do you? In any event, the word is that it takes so long to process the face, you'd be miles quicker typing in a password.
And incidentally, I have a foolproof method of bypassing any computer security system. It's called a screwdriver. ![]()
Got the source code time to play around with it, lets see if i can get it to use my webcam to model 3D objects.
Nice stuff... however isn't most of the abilities of this system alrdy in use with other type of hardware ofc?

#9 If their teachers didnt do papers about it I very much doubt it is any like this
#11, I wonder how old this is because my Panasonic HD Camcorder has this technology installed already. I guess he will make most of his money from the military and police ![]()
