Actually it's not that easy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_and_short_scales
At least not for me as European, I had to think for a bit
Trillion in America = billion in Europe.

well, other then #(removed comment) said, its some simple fact, that most ppl here in europe know about. or let me put it his way: everyone i know for sure knows:
we also understand that you use a slightly different number system, so that between your billion and ours there is a factor of 1000
please US citizens just look up the number that tells you abouth the financial depths of your country. you would be suprised, how fast you can understand what a trillion means.
or just stick with the perspective of the ppl in this video
"like 3 million?? i dont know "

It looks like the Germans and Brits don't fare any better in a question and answer test on the street. This can happen anywhere on earth.

Interviews like this say nothing whatsoever about average knowledge in a population. They don't show you the ones who get the answer correct, or save it until the end. And even the "first one to get it right" comment means nothing out of context. When was that guy interviewed, in relation to the others?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - you can go to any country on this planet and make the same kind of video. Any populace can look entirely composed of idiots with a small amount of editing.

To put it in perspective 1 million seconds is 11.2 days. ! trillion seconds is 32,000 years. Remember that, then realize that The democrats spent 7 trillion dollars in a year and a half and we have nothing to show for it.start teaching your children Chinese now. They can learn how the black messiah dealt the death blow to a once great country.
