Wow, that machine is huge. And the facilities for it are even bigger. It is the end of an era, it makes me sad the shuttle wont fly anymore. It is truly amazing what man can achieve.

Usually watching a space shuttle take off is like "Ok......" :|
But when looking at it in a different angle like in this video and the scale difference between humans and cars, it does really gives you a "Woooow..." :O kind of impression.

#3 End of one amazing era, start of another: commercial spaceflight, which is going to be really interesting, and quick to develop as it isn't bound in layers of government red tape like the big space projects of the past.
