I was always told that they burned up on re-entry.

#6 what if it fell on your small fishing boat, scary, I wouldn't fish anymore in that area. I don't think that they can control where these boosters gonna fall precisely.

#7 i guess they calculate the area of the drop and close it for fishing boats...the ocean is a pretty big place..and our calculations can be pretty accurate =)

#5 the tank burns up, the big part that the shuttle piggybacks, but everything else is reusable.
