Go ahead to http://vimeo.com/22439234 and watch it in HD. Also, give a shoutout to the maker of this timelapsevideo, he deserves it.
Quote from his vimeo:
"This was filmed between 4th and 11th April 2011. I had the pleasure of visiting El Teide.
Spain´s highest mountain @(3718m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories. "

Too bad only a lot of us don't see such scenes at night because of our city lights. ![]()

wow i cant understand why we forget about how beautifull our world is.
#5 Id imagine because most of us live in highly populated area's.
I can not say i have ever seen the sky looking as it does in this clip. Perhaps They use special lenses to capture such images.

#6 special lenses yes..but not to see the stars. Its true that you cant see such a beautifull sky in populated areas because of backlight..but go to some places in france..or on a mountain in austria...or even a desert..a view you will never ever forget ![]()

Hmm... Maybe there is no Creator...
If not then why is this so beautiful to us?
Is our perception of beauty such as this essential at all to our survival?
