Go ahead to http://vimeo.com/22439234 and watch it in HD. Also, give a shoutout to the maker of this timelapsevideo, he deserves it.

Quote from his vimeo:
"This was filmed between 4th and 11th April 2011. I had the pleasure of visiting El Teide.
Spain´s highest mountain @(3718m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories. "

Too bad only a lot of us don't see such scenes at night because of our city lights. :S

#5 Id imagine because most of us live in highly populated area's.
I can not say i have ever seen the sky looking as it does in this clip. Perhaps They use special lenses to capture such images.

Yet, we can't even picture how life would look on another planet. Nature is crazy.

#6 special lenses yes..but not to see the stars. Its true that you cant see such a beautifull sky in populated areas because of backlight..but go to some places in france..or on a mountain in austria...or even a desert..a view you will never ever forget :)

Hmm... Maybe there is no Creator...
If not then why is this so beautiful to us?
Is our perception of beauty such as this essential at all to our survival?
