Hollywood would have had that explosion covering 20 square blocks.....
And you can stop watching after 1:10.
I was waiting for a bigger explosion, but sadly there was none.

Poor mother earth! we human do whatever we want just because we are THE ONLY animal spices who can THINK!
It's called a Bleve - Pronounced as Ble-vee.
It stands for Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion, They are one of the most dangerous types of fires to fight and have killed many firefighters in the past.
This is in Australia i believe but I can hear someone talking in serbian/croatian: "That truck is stuck and gas station is on fire (mumbling), here it is! now it's gonna..."

Do they have the foam blower (cannon) instaled in all new gas stations ? or is that only in Europe. It releases foam almost covering half the block in case of emergency, triggered from the inside, or automated when the temprature is to high.
Cop telling him to feck off was class at end , least hes smart enough not to get close to it unlike the fire crews ...
"Julia Gillard the Australian prime minister" must love carbon tax she might be able to tax Australians on this maybe a new petrol station carbon explosion tax with a flood levy tax even though the damage done was nothing like japan or new zealand earth quakes. Australia has the most incompetent government ever that spends 4 billion dollars on a tunnel "the clem7"only 4 kilometers long that no one uses and sells all its assets .if only they could manage the huge amount of money they make from tax the country may have a chance .

#8 This is definitely not a Bleve. The guy with the camera would have been is some serious trouble. Bleves are a lot more intense than this, it would have looked like a Michael Bay explosion. They can only occur after long periods of direct flame impingement on the vapor space of a pressurized LPG tank. I work at a refinery that had a bleve in '86 that killed 18 people.

This was in Maddington, Perth, Western Australia. About 2 years ago, the fuel pump on the truck ignited the bowser and caused the Woolworths petrol station to blow up. My friend captured it on his mobile phone across the road. Heaps closer footage than this.
Language warning and plus my mate is a bit immature, lol.
