the supporter should not have been on the field, blame him, not the police, when they got him he should have taken his loss and went along with them, then it just would have been fun , but the dumb ass went to far

It's not the stick hitting cop that got hurt....he just avoids the guy falling at 0:42. But I don't like weapons and cops should be the last to use violence.

One note on this. Only 2 security officers were punching the guy. Im sure they dont do this for a reason, he was probably restraining. This was a man who ran on the pitch, breaking the law in the first place. Do you think other people are treated differently if they rob a store, or simply disobeying the law. It is all in the same context. If you restrain or break the law you will face consequences. Those 300 supporters are not any better. This is the general problem. If one party harms the other, obviously the other party would want revenge. It seems humans will never be able communicate rather than attack.

#8 Running on the pitch is not illegal! The guy was not breaking any law, he was just delaying a football (soccer) match.
There was no reason to get the police involved into this in the first place, all that was required is a couple security guards who would have walked the guy off the pitch, then they could have decided to throw him out of the stadium...
There is a huge problem with the officer using a nightstick on the guy, it should have never ever happened, (unless the fan was posing an immediate and obvious threat to the safety of the officers which was NOT the case!).
The guy is on the ground, 4 officers restraining him... There was no need to hit him on top of that. The crowd reacted justly!
On a side note, maybe we should give all police officers some medication to keep their anomalously high level of testosterone under control...

#19 it is not the running in the field you moron, i said that when they got him he just should keep quiet and nothing would have happened. of course it is not the law to beat someone, but you seem to like it when 300 ppl bash 5 because one of them bashed that guy, what are you then a right-extremist ? what did the other 4 wrong ?

Actually, if you watch the video a few times you will be able to tell that only the "protectars" security guards with black hair are beating the fan.
The two bold guys don't hit him, on the contrary, they try to calm the two other guards down.
But once the fans are on the field, the two black haired guards make a run for it, where as the bold guy who tried to calm everybody down gets beaten unconscious.
Mob justice is almost never a good thing, even here the "good" guy gets all the beating, where as the overly aggressive ones escape.
