#11 It's only the molds for the bots, namely those of the then Takara Diaclone and Microman series, that originated there. The Transformer brand name was first used in the US of A in 1984 when Hasbro made the TV series and toy line available. Granted the animation for the TV series was done in the land of the rising sun, but the title, characters and the writing was done in the States. I'm still riding ... or do you want to continue nitpicking?
