It's amazing how he sometimes even placed camera by the road and rode near it just for the video, then came back for the camera and went further in to he's adventure 8-)

Doesn't beat Swedish mountain climber Goran Kropp. He took the bike from Stockholm, Sweden to Mount Everest. Climbed it without oxygen help. Then he went back down, jumped on his bike, and went home again. (except from Almaty,KZ to Moscow where they had to take the train).

I have a mate who rode around South America and he is now riding around Europe... Hell of an achievement for both him and this guy but really how much truoble could you get into riding across America. Its not like he is solo sailing around the world!

#7 why would you try to mitigate his achievement? He went biking across the USA and that's what he did. I don't see how the trouble he could get into matters and there certainly is little point comparing his undertaking to something completely different.

#10 If he had a support vehicle following him he would not have needed all those heavy bags mounted all over the bike...the support vehicle would be carrying them instead.
#6 He was not trying to set any records, he just wanted to prove something to himself. He isn't Lance Armstrong you know.
