usually cars technical reliability are the thing to be proud of not the doors. if you are in able to close a door and not start the engine you want have this smiley face over you arent you.

German quality has been around for a long time....remember the Hindenburg? Their gas ovens were a real hoot too,but I guess that is ancient history for some.
