Can't they simply make a web page without taking so much public space???

I wouldn't use it, I hate the QR code scanning, I'd rather have them implement nfc too. It's wat faster and more reliable.

#2 I would imagine they pay for the space, just like any billboard typ add, placing it in such a large scale allows people to get a feel for what they are buying (i.e. the prints are life size) The placement also allows for people to shop while they are on the move.

Jesus that just looks retarded I go shopping i buy on average 30-60 ITEMS a week it takes me just under an hour to go to shop get it all in and home.
This would take longer , my phone battery would not last long enough to do my shopping, What about after each item you have to tell it how many you want and confirm .....i bet making a mistake would take longer than just puttin it back on a shelf.
People fall for the stupidest stuff some times ......

#7 like they said the hard working people didn't have a lot of time to spend in the grocery store, so now they can shop while they are on their transit routes. Great idea IMO.

The is probably only one problem with that. If Korea is even slightly like the UK, what happens if the boards get graffiti'd up so that you cant see the code with the phone?
Other than that though, it's a genius idea, especially for the people that have to wait a while on their trains coming in. I know Japan would use a similar system as well if they incorporated it.
They are a hardworking people out on the Far East so why SHOULDNT companies be pandering to make their lives that little bit easier? I certainly salute the company in question for their creativity.

#10 good point..i guess there it might work..but here i guess mostly not because of what you said..trolls spraying the codes. But that can be fixed by the way #5 mentioned. Right now its just an idea..but in my opinion a good one. I often have to wait like 10 minutes from train to train or bus to bus. Doing the basic shopping then would come in handy if you just need some basic stuff like bread, butter, cheese and some drinks. Still for veggies/fruits i would pick them by hand. Butt as addon for existing shops its a nice idea.
