Interesting how people chose a mask depicting a catholic terrorist (Guy Fawkes) as an emblem for liberation.

its maybe good, to have a force, that explictitly looks for ethicnally wrong behaviour within the system.
but as good as those hackers intentions are, as wrong is it, to do this hidden and without any official insight.
it can be abused. it can do way more damage, than they intially intented to punish others for. and the worst thing is: it can cause war.
this video is ... well it makes them look not so grown up. its a randomnes of some great speeches. they seem to be some really young kids, that need some REAL personification.
try to work WITH the government. SHOW evidence of unethnical behaviour, that you found. but DONT feel like you are the law or you would have the right to judge others. you clearly dont. there are rules and if you find others should follow them, than YOU should as well.
i dont like it at all.

Anarchists by any other name are still anarchists.
You may dislike or even hate the governmental system you live in, but it can be changed peacefully.
I fear Anonymous will not remain peaceful much longer, they are inspiring people to 'get involved', but I can guarantee that some of those who do involved will not remain peaceful.
Ask yourself this, Is it worth throwing the baby out with the bath water ?
Is it worth loosing your safety and security for the freedom of anarchy ?
I'm not saying we should remain ignorant sheep just taking what is given us.
I'm saying this sort of rhetoric leads to violence and that violence leads to more governmental control until all that's left is violent revolution and few if any of us want to really live in the anarchy that follows.

#6: i think the answer to your question is anonymous. BUT the new level will be "who watches the watchmen of the watchmen." the problem of our times though is that we need to bring governments down to telling the truth. and not thinking that we're all dumb and don't understand the truth. the truth is all we want to know. let us form out own opinion.

#8 it's a vicious circle i know, the 'anonymous' today, might or might not be the 'elites' of tomorrow. Im not against anonymous, im just trying to put in practical use what it is said on the video.
If they are capable of these things to bring out the truth, what's stopping them to hide it from us?

Sooo... Did USA created this anonymous stuff as a help to (and a piece of) Twitter revolutions for destabilizing Middle East (for the purpose of slowing down China) and then, as always, just "shot their leg" at first, so no-one would think that it's their work?

# 6, you look at Anonymous as a single entity, or a small group of people that do this (when in fact its a plethora of individuals like you and me). Even the so called attack on Facebook apparently scheduled for nov 5th has parts of the group that don't agree with this. Lets just hope that power doesn't go to their heads....is the power to the people? or is what #6 said true?

Unlike a real "government" these hackers are just "kiddies" that lack common sense. I just find this ridiculous and a waste of time that could be put into actually making changes. What exactly do they think they'll achieve through this? Nothing!
My point is you can't make a change unless you have brute force, ie weapons. Words are just words, they mean nothing in the larger picture. People are corrupt no matter what. It's the people that made the government what it is.
The only event that would actually change our "human" world, for the better, would be a *devastating* natural disaster like a meteor crashing into earth. Only then do we really get a clean start. The planet is seriously overpopulated with humans. We need people willing to take that extra step that nobody else dares to take. Those people who will be hated throughout human history for what they did.

I'm sorry but i can't agree on this video or anonymous itself. The problem is that you're focus lies on all the bad things that 'our sytem' provides. And there are no answers other then damaging 'the sytem', but that doesn't change anything. Come up with changes. Show real solutions. Start looking for the brigt side of the system and live.

I cannot take the matrix and v for vendetta stuff seriously though. and while I appreciate the effort and do agree that there is lots of crap going on, I feel it is much more useful to take matters into you own hands and change something instead of conspiring and hacking via the internet.
the system cannot be forced to change. but we can all become a part of it and slowly replace the ones we dislike or disagree with. its easier to change a system from the inside...

i appreciate seeing kids trying to bring down a broken system. it's just natural. maybe this is the mission of this young generation. time will show.
BUT: please kids, if you have to do stuff like that...do it with free software and not on a mac or wintendo. your freedom starts with every decision for freedom.

Correct, Right of humanity. That not just means whats my right but also what is yours because all have rights due on each others.
Dozens of acts such as anonymous has been seen and also we have seen its effects. Suppose this anonymous succeeds, Still what kind a change would it be? At first it may go good but later on everything restores or becomes more critical because everything runs on its base.
The biggest example is our current situations.
We must take lessons from past and apply them to future. Its easy.

I think that anyone in a Government position needs to be held to a high level of accountability and integrity.
This alone would solve many problems.
People with low esteem for morality should never lead.
In a democracy, the Government is only a reflection of the people being ruled by it....Who voted them in??....The People!!
