Monster Tajima's Record Breaking run at Pikes Peak Hill Climb
Shot 100% with GoPro cameras, this project between Pat Barrett and myself, Wes Nobles, took quite a while to perfect but this is the final result. Hope you enjoy.

The game Dirt 2 has that track, I did it at least 30 times (I know all the curves), and...
This driver is very very perfect!!!
But what's sad is they put asphalt on that track, gravel was a greater challenge.
If you're interested, search for "pikes peak uphill drifting" or "climb dance" with the Peugeot 405 T16 and you'll see talent on gravel, which require more skills than on asphalt! ![]()

Great drive, but I liked more Ari Vatanen's run, maybe cause it's more dramatic, more on the edge and it was 22 years ago with a lot less sophisticated car, with no computers to help you. ![]()

It looks so easy, but bet he is burning more calories then a weightlifter, just one pebble or one leaf on the road, and it could go wrong, if you don't know your car 100%.
i know that a corner is the nicest place to look as spectator, but damn, if something goed wrong with those speeds don't complain that there where a couple of dead people, some are asking for it.
freaking speeds there ![]()
